YOU MUST DO THIS IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN

FAQs
Can older or younger siblings join the tour without feeling out of place?
All are welcome on tour. Although the tour is geared towards families with 4 to 12 year old kids, we always try to include everyone. Older brothers and sisters can become involved on a more adult level by helping their younger siblings. Toddlers (3 and younger) can join along with their brothers and sisters for free.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Number are limited to 20 people per group, including adults and children so reservations are essential if you want to ensure your place on the tour. Also, an activity pack is given to each child so we need to know the number of people attending.
Is there a lot of walking involved?
It is not a huge amount of walking and it is broken into easy stages for the children. However, we recommend strollers for younger siblings coming along on the tour.
What should I bring?
Strollers for younger children are recommended (the tour is stroller friendly).
Snacks and drinks are also highly advisable to keep up your children's energy as we do not stop for a food break.
Summers can be very hot in Barcelona so a good sun hat and sun cream are essential.
Lastly, please bring a few small coins as a voluntary donation entrance to the Giants Museum to support this local project.
What if I arrive late to the meeting point?
The tour will start on time out of respect for the other families and our office is closed on Saturdays for phone enquiries. The first stop takes approximately 10 minutes at the meeting point and then we will continue in the patisserie on the square and then to Plaça de Sant Jaume. After that time, we will enter the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter and finding the guide might be tricky so please arrive on time so you don't miss out.
How about a toilet break if needed?
We do stop for a toilet break half way through the tour and we can, of course, also stop for emergencies ;-)
What if it rains?
Our Walking Tours run in all kinds of weather. In the case of heavy rain the tour will run as usual so please bring suitable rain gear.
