Tour Highlights

Plaça d'Espanya

This is one of Barcelona’s most iconic and vibrant squares, located at the base of Montjuïc Hill. It was built for the 1929 International Exposition and is known for its grand architecture, including the twin Venetian Towers and the impressive circular layout.

Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion (exterior)

Designed for the 1929 International Exposition, it is a masterpiece of modernm architecture, known for its minimalist design and use of glass, steel, and marble. Its open layout and elegant simplicity make it a key example of 20th-century architecture. It was rebuilt in the 1980s after being dismantled after the exhibition.

Palau Nacional

A majestic neoclassical building also built for the 1929 International Exhibition. With its grand central dome, elegant towers, and stunning city views, the palace is an architectural landmark. It houses the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) and it is also the perfect backdrop for the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.

Catalonia's National Art Museum (MNAC)

The MNAC houses one of the most comprehensive collections of Catalan art, spanning from the Romanesque period to the 20th century. It is especially renowned for its Romanesque frescoes, considered among the finest in the world, as well as its extensive collections of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque masterpieces.

Cable car & panoramic views

The Montjuïc Cable Car (Telefèric de Montjuïc) is a scenic aerial tramway that connects Parc de Montjuïc to Montjuïc Castle and offers stunning panoramic views of the city, the port, and the Mediterranean Sea.

Montjuïc castle

This historic fortress perched atop Montjuïc Hill dartes back to the 17th century. It has served as a military stronghold, prison, and strategic lookout over the city and coastline.
