Plaça d'Espanya
This is one of Barcelona’s most iconic and vibrant squares, located at the base of Montjuïc Hill. It was built for the 1929 International Exposition and is known for its grand architecture, including the twin Venetian Towers and the impressive circular layout.
Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion (exterior)
Designed for the 1929 International Exposition, it is a masterpiece of modernm architecture, known for its minimalist design and use of glass, steel, and marble. Its open layout and elegant simplicity make it a key example of 20th-century architecture. It was rebuilt in the 1980s after being dismantled after the exhibition.
Palau Nacional
A majestic neoclassical building also built for the 1929 International Exhibition. With its grand central dome, elegant towers, and stunning city views, the palace is an architectural landmark. It houses the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) and it is also the perfect backdrop for the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.
Catalonia's National Art Museum (MNAC)
The MNAC houses one of the most comprehensive collections of Catalan art, spanning from the Romanesque period to the 20th century. It is especially renowned for its Romanesque frescoes, considered among the finest in the world, as well as its extensive collections of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque masterpieces.
Cable car & panoramic views
The Montjuïc Cable Car (Telefèric de Montjuïc) is a scenic aerial tramway that connects Parc de Montjuïc to Montjuïc Castle and offers stunning panoramic views of the city, the port, and the Mediterranean Sea.
Montjuïc castle
This historic fortress perched atop Montjuïc Hill dartes back to the 17th century. It has served as a military stronghold, prison, and strategic lookout over the city and coastline.

- This tour is not offered on Mondays as the National Art Museum is closed.
- There is a bit of walking on this tour so a minimum level of fitness is required.
- Once we confirm availability for the tour we will send an invoice for the payment to your email address through our bank’s online secure payment system.
- Price does not include the entrance fees to the National Art Museum, transportation (cable car to Montuïc), food or drinks and the guide’s food (if lunch/dinner time is included).
- You will skip-the line at the museum with our licensed guide. Tickets can be paid on the date of the tour at the ticket entrance.
- The tour can be extended to 6 hours to include lunch/dinner at the restaurant in the museum or at the end of the tour in a local neighbourhood where the guide can sit down and give advice and help with the rest of your stay.
Cancellation policy for the tour:
- Full refund for tours cancelled more than 72 hours before the scheduled starting time.
- No refunds for tours cancelled less than 72 hours before the scheduled starting time or for no shows.
- In the case of heavy rain the tour will run as usual so please bring suitable rain gear.
