A GREAT TOUR COMPANY
"Both tours were fantastic and our Guides Ali and Ellie were great. Both tours were extremely informative and fun. Our children (10 &13) both also enjoyed the tours. Well worth booking with this company."Read on Trip Advisor
SUCH A FUN PRIVATE TOUR
"Such a fun private tour with Maria! We started at Sagrada Familia with skip the line tickets and tickets to the tower. Maria was so knowledgeable about everything. I couldn't imagine visiting Sagrada without having her pointing everything out and giving us the education and insight, it made the experience so much more meaningful."Read on Trip Advisor
A GEM OF A TOUR AND TOUR GUIDE
"I booked a private tour with Runner Bean Tours and added the lunch with our guide. I picked Runner Bean because of the recommendation from Rick Steves and the price was good, especially for a private tour. What made the tour extra special was our tour guide Gemma! She is from Barcelona and she knows her history and facts and could explain everything to us. Just phenomenal."Read on Trip Advisor

Onyar river houses
A striking row of colorful buildings that line the banks of the Onyar River with some houses dating back to medieval times. These picturesque facades, painted in warm tones of ochre, orange, and red, reflect beautifully in the water, creating one of the city’s most iconic sights.
Lioness Butt ("Cul lleona")
A small stone sculpture depicting a lioness climbing a column. According to local legend, visitors who kiss the lioness’ bottom are guaranteed to return to Girona.
Basilica of Sant Feliu (exterior)
This historic church dates back to the 12th century and it showcases a mix of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architecture. It is dedicated to Saint Felix, the patron saint of the city.
Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants (exterior)
A stunning example of Romanesque architecture. Originally built in the 12th century, it was once home to Benedictine monks. The monastery features an elegant cloister, a beautiful church with a vaulted interior, and intricate carvings. Today, it houses the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia.
Arab baths
A very well-preserved example of medieval Romanesque architecture, inspired by the traditional bathhouses of the Arab world. Built in the 12th century, the baths feature an impressive circular vaulted ceiling in the main room, along with a series of cold, warm, and hot rooms. The tranquil space, with its stone columns and arches, provides a glimpse into the past and the importance of baths in medieval life.
Girona Cathedral & Treasure Museum (interior)
Built between the 11th and 18th centuries, it is famous for its wide nave, the widest of any Gothic cathedral in the world, and its impressive baroque façade. Inside, you can admire the magnificent altar, cloister, and Treasury.
Medieval walls of Girona
A well-preserved fortification system that dates back to the Roman and medieval periods. These walls once protected the city, with impressive towers, gates, and ramparts offering panoramic views of Girona. You can walk along the paths atop the walls, which provide a unique perspective of Girona and the surrounding landscape.
Jewish Quarter
